Jeans (customised) & shirt: topshop - shoes: converse at asos - bag: Italy
Photographs by Megan Ward

Longest blogging hiatus ever!! I hope we can move past this though . . . forgive me?

K, thanks, Love ya! kisses!

Moving on . . . I almost wore this look with a block heel, but did a u-turn on my way out the door to make the switch to converse. I honestly can't remember the last time a pair of heels donned my feet before 8pm, it's always one trainer or another these days.

I'm not complaining though, I'm really digging that casual/cool look as of late.

P.s notice I followed through and made the new bag purchase? I bought it in italy a few weeks back. It locks . . . with an actual key! Cool, right!? Yes! . . . until you lose the key that is.

jeans & jacket: Zara - crop top: topshop - shoes: converse - bag: primark

Comfort dressing . . . is there any better way?

I have been having a bit of a blast in the mid season sales. My birthday just passed so I snapped up the opportunity to spoil myself . . . or rather, be spoiled by others!

I scored these jeans and jacket from Zara for buttons! They arrived only this morning and I immediately threw them on my back and out the door I went! But, not before Megan took a moment to point out my appreciation for a khaki jacket. I hadn't realised it until today, but I have accumulated a total of six khaki jackets. Six! A camo one, a leather sleeved one, a long one, a sleeveless one, a lightweight one, and the newest addition, this Zara paint splat one. All a little different, but more or less the same garment.

I guess when you find something you like, it kinda sticks with you, right!?

I may have an unnecessary amount of black runner shorts too, but that's another story for another day.

jacket: asos - jeans: topshop - beanie & t-shirt: primark - shoes: converse

After all the stress of uni hand in's I usually find that I have zero energy (or motivation for that matter) to do anything but laze about and make the most of my summer break. And so this look pretty much reflects that feeling, very casual and comfy and with an "I got dressed in under 5 minutes" look to it. (psst! It actually took me and hour).

P.s Wanna know a major sign that a girl loves her heels!? . . .
When she's still tip toeing about, even when in flats!

Paisley print maxi skirt

Skirt & jumper: Topshop - beanie: Primark - Converse

I lusted after this Topshop maxi skirt for months but being the scrooge that I am (I use the term "scrooge" loosely as I'd happily pay ridiculous money for the right pair of shoes) I was reluctant to pay full price. But was lucky enough to later snag it in the mid season sale at half price (whoop whoop). I paired it with my topshop slubby sweater that I also got on sale and a beanie and converse to keep it casual.

There is nothing more welcoming to my feet than my converse! Don't get me wrong now, I love heels as much as the next shoe hoarding girl, but it's great to be fashionable AND comfy, and this grungy look combines both.

Hope you like x x x

P.s I'd like to give a shout out to that bastard of a spot that was just sooooo eager to make an appearance on the blog. I hope you're proud of yourself.
