You probably recall me snapping up this little bag from a charity shop about a year or so back, and for the grand old price of two squids! In all honesty, I think it's time to let the battered old thing go to bag heaven, but I've grown kinda fond of the little mite, which isn't the exact reason I've been using it so much in recent months. You see I'm what fashionistas would describe as "accessory delinquent". And by god has it been a dry spell!

Ideally, I'd be rocking a Chanel caviar wallet on chain, but that's just me dreaming right there! I'll pick up something more affordable soon . . . I'll probably take the broke bitch bag out for a few spins first though, you know, for momentum's sake.

I restyled this floral zara dress into my spring wardrobe for a busy day of holiday preparation and last minute shopping. I previously styled it with tough boots and a leather biker jacket for winter, but admittedly, prefer this trainers and cross body bag combo. Understated cool wins every time.

The excitement I experience in thrift stores could be perceived as a little unusual. But in place where you can score one off (often vintage) goodies for mere buttons is in my books, defs something to get excited about. Case in point: this cobalt blue shirt, for the grand old price a £2 it was an easy, no questions asked purchase.

The cost per wear on this beauty is going to be great!

I spied this little slip dress a few months back in a charity shop and snapped it up that very second, knowing it would look rad (yes, I just said rad) with a tee and some chokers. I actually think it's a child's dress, but hey, if the shoe fits!?

Walking into a store to purchase a magazine you're actually in is pretty surreal experience! A feeling that I was lucky enough to acquaint myself with this month, after Ireland's very own ( and very fabulous) Xpose' magazine invited me to take part in their "How we wear it" feature.

Each month the feature showcases Irish bloggers rocking a particular theme, this months being: "summer in the city". I translated this with some masculine tailoring and tough grunginess, with a little femininity thrown in for good measure.

The mag is currently available in store, and as well as featuring little old me, has some great fashion and beauty bits too! But be warned ladies . . . reading may result in an impromptu shopping spree!

jacket: eBay - t shirt : hm - jeans: DIY (previously topshop) - heels: primark - bag: vintage - watch: Michael kors
Photographs by Megan Ward

Frayed hemmed jeans have been all over the interwebs this past few weeks, and when I saw a pic of Kim K rocking some in Paris, I knew I just had to have a pair!

I did a little googling to see if I could locate some online, but to no avail. So I retreated to some in-home searching and came up with these topshop jeans that haven't been worn since 1936, and gave them a new lease of life. I frayed the hems and added a few rips here and there, and frickin LOVE how they turned out!

I've got the bug now for distressing all the denim and have a pair of 501's that are just screaming out for a few knee holes. Would you like to see a tutorial maybe?

I've developed a new found love for the simplicity of wrap skirts. Pop on, pop off . . .  too easy. The architectural design of this topshop boutique one set it apart from last years galore of wrap skirts, and made me love it enough to purchase. An unforeseen issue arose whilst wearing it though, that little cut out section has a tendency to travel, making flashing a little thigh, (potentially) flashing a little somethin else . . . the moral to the story being; wrap skirts with cut outs are fun, but risky business. Purchase with caution.

Also, the weather's being an unpredictable moody bitch again, so it was back to the knitwear for me.

OH HEEEEEYYY!! So I finally finished up uni and I could literally cry with relief! I hate that my blog always becomes so desolate around hand-in times, but some shiz just gots to be done!

I, like many daughters of the fashion senseless father, spent the best part of my summers giggling and mocking my dad every time he pulled out his socks and sandals combo. Needless to say, one of us is feeling a little sheepish right now (hint: it ain't my dad).

So yea, rocking a pair of socks with these cool buckle platform sandals that I bought from river island a few years back. The heels are ginormous! It probably goes without saying that they were swiftly removed from my feet not long after these pics were taken, in exchange for something more practical. Also rocking these little city/safari shorts that I picked up from primark last week, not something I'd usually go for, but I think my style is having an identity crisis as of late. Could it be that I'm . . . growing up!? . . .

shirt: topshop - shorts: zara - shoes: topshop - bag: vintage - watch: Michael kors - bracelet: primark

I bagged this shirt only last week and have worn it 4 times since. It's 4 sizes too big and makes for the perfect boyfriend style fit, and is quickly climbing the ranks to becoming my fave thing to wear! It's surely one of the most versatile garments I own.

This paired with the relaxed short made for the perfect Easter Sunday look. loose enough to hide a food baby (and one too many easter eggs) too, which of course is always a bonus! I added a few gold accessories and my topshop gladiator sandals for a little edge and to throw off the preppy vibe that shirts can create.  I switched to a nude ballet flat later in the evening, which also worked equally well.

Megan and I were on our way home when we spied this gorgeous cherry blossom tree growing out from the foot path. And being the slap-happy dedicated people that we are, we stopped for a few extra snaps, and a little involuntary flashing on Megan's behalf. I'll say no more.
